Rotten Wood.  Rotten Steel Floor.


Rear quarter panel just shattered upon removal.
 


All Wood Removed


Rear Quarter Panel Top Corners.  Finger Joints Rotted Out.


Fender Arch Wood                                                 Fender Arch Steel


Body Mounting Bolt.  WD-40 will NOT help here!


Cut out all bad metal.


All rusted steel removed.


Cleared out and ready for cleaning.

Cleaned with POR-15 Marine Clean product.


Painted with POR-15.


Seam lap painted with 3M weld-through paint.


Floor steel clamped at rear to new sill plate which mounts at four bolt points to frame.


Detail of fabricated corner which was missing due to improper old collision repair.


Welded, cleaned, and ready for POR-15 Paint.


Repair completed. Ready for tailgate piano hinge installation.
