Start with good wood.

Glue up huge pieces.

Pillar glue-up and fitting.

Pattern and copy carefully.

Finger joints are essential.

Layout and Check.

This is a serious finger joint machine.  Stand back!

New next to old.

Front door rear frame pieces.                                         Front door top frame.  Window slot being cut.

Copying is difficult since the old was not quite the right shape.

Right and left frames compared.

Immense amount of work went into the fitting and panel installation.

are secured into half inch holes with spade bit as screwdriver in high powered drill.
All stainless steel hardware was used on door and frame assemblies.

Arch installed with stricker plate attached.  Tail light is temporary unitl correct Plymouth set is located.

Ribbon Sapele Veneers on the exterior panels.  Lacewood veneer on dash.  Steering wheel is vintage 50's hot rod add on.
